about us

"Vintage Inspired with a Modern twist"

Retro Threads Co creates unique, high quality, apparel for children with the idea in mind that some pieces
should just last longer and perhaps be passed down to the next generation of lovely littles.
We create fashion-forward, yet timeless pieces and we are proud to say that every piece is created and produced in America.
Our pieces are designed to last longer and strive to use only the best materials so
that our products can become a keepsake that is enjoyed by your
family both now and for years to come.

We draw inspiration from Retro looks from the 50's and 60's,
yet incorporate modern day trends in order to create unique, one of a kind pieces.
When you choose to purchase a piece from Retro Threads Co., you add a keepsake to your little ones collection. Not only will
you love watching your daughter twirl around in her tutu or linen dress but you'll be able to keep the piece to hold on to this memory.
Retro Threads Co. provides the opportunity to create a story behind every piece, which can be passed on from generation to generation.

Hello!  My name is Ashley,
I'm an entrepreneur and mom of two incredible kids.
I started sewing when I was a teen and had big plans to start my own clothing company one day; at one point opening a pillow shop on Etsy.
I became a mom at a pretty young age and life got busy. After I had my daughter I started making her bows and pieces of clothing for fun, inspiring me to open my own shop. My children are my "Reason" my "Why" the inspiration, heart, and soul behind Retro Threads Co.
As long as I can remember I've been an old soul. I have always had a love for vintage/retro pieces from different eras, especially the 50's and 60's; including old movies, music, and fashion, to retro furniture, homes, and cars. That is where the inspiration for Retro Threads came from. I incorporate a retro vibe while staying relevant with today's styles and trends in order to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. I truly want to help create memories through mementos in hopes that each piece will be cherished for years to come.
